Sample gallery for the Canon RF 24-240mm F4-6.3

Dpreview has released a sample gallery for the Canon RF 24-240mm F4-6.3

There are a few things you should note before looking through the gallery, first, dpreview deliberately turns off all corrections on their processed images.  This effectively means, this is the worst the lens will behave.  Download the RAW files and apply the corrections yourself to see how the lens would behave in the real world.  Secondly, ignore the comment section.

For a 10x full frame super zoom, this lens appears to be not that bad once you apply corrections.

Unfortunately, it seems that DPP currently doesn't have a profile for the Canon RF 24-240mm, but I would always suggest using DLO (Digital Lens Optimizer) on ANY Canon lens that is not an "L" professional lens.

See the gallery here

The Canon RF 24-240mm F4-6.3 is still on preorder and is expected to ship at the end of the month. Preorder it here
