The Chinese company Brightin star released a 55mm 1.8 full frame lens for the Canon RF mount. I'm not quite sure you can find a cheaper lens than this, which retails for around $99.95. The MTF's actually don't look that bad for a straight forward optical design. While it's no RF 50mm 1.2, it may be a fun manual focus lens to use.
