Canon Patent Application: Canon RF 8mm F4.0 fisheye lens

First things first. I think I'm right that this is for full frame if you want the entire fisheye image circle in the image.

An image height of 11.5mm would mean that the circle radius is 11.5mm or the circle diameter, 23mm.  The size of a full-frame sensor is 35mm x 24mm - which means you would see the entire circle view of the fisheye, but only in a full frame sensor.  Thus I do believe this is for the Canon RF mount.

The lens particulars are;

F-number          4.00
Angle of view    90.07
Image height     11.40
